Functions

In contrast to the tasks, the functions are the actual Matlab® routines that each reside in their respective file and can be called from the Matlab® command line.

For a better overview, the functions are separated into different categories (see below), each of which has its own subdirectory in the toolbox directory.

As the documentation is still in its very beginnings, for the time being there is a list of functions documented so far.

Categories

The following categories/modules are currently (as of 2012-01) planned, each with a short description:

  • IO
    • Common functions for input and output, such as reading and saving of spectra
  • GUI
    • All functions related to the GUI
  • preprocessing
    • Preprocessing of the raw data (such as compensation and accumulation)
  • analysis
    • (Common) analysis of preprocessed data
  • figure
    • Modifications of figures
    • Saving of figures in different file formats
  • common
    • Common functions that can be used in many different occasions
  • internal
    • Functions, such as TAinfo(), and functions to handle errors/bug reports, that are internal to the toolbox
