Apparently, over the years of developing toolboxes, GUIs proved to be more and more an integral part, especially for users that are not developers at the same time and rather want to use the functionality and have an easy access to it.

As the ideas and concepts that - hopefully - led to a rather intuitive and easy-to-use GUI developed over years as well, they should be summarised on these pages, to give developers (and users with interest in more in-depth information about the toolbox and GUI) an overview and a bit of background.
